Community is Everything!
The ¡Tu Voz, Tu Voto, Tu Vida! Movement emerges as a beacon of empowerment and advocacy for underrepresented communities, with a particular emphasis on amplifying the voices of the Latino community. Despite their significant contributions and cultural influence, the Latino community often finds their concerns overshadowed in public discourse.
By championing this campaign, we aim to ignite a passionate call to action among Latino individuals, urging them to exercise their democratic rights for enhanced representation. The movement stands as a testament to the belief that when the Latino community speaks, society must listen, act, and evolve.
HACIENDA HEIGHTS, Calif. (AP) — The Meruelo Group took part in Assemblymember Lisa Calderon’s 56th annual College and Career Fair at Los Altos High School on Saturday, Oct. 14.
While the group engaged students with career opportunities, their participation had a deeper purpose. The Meruelo Group sought to educate and empower the youth on the importance of their voice and the impact of their vote in the democratic process.
